Three make a trend

With only Paris left to show, Fashion Week is almost over. This also means it's time to look back on all the shows that have happened, and identify the trends that we've been able to see so far.
Here's a compilation of said trends I identified. Enjoy!

XL Sleeves
This is all about the oversized, coverage and warmth that Fall and Winter seasons represent. With this trend, you can say bye bye to those ugly gloves - let's face it, everybody hates gloves - and hello to your new sleeves. Just be careful when reaching for the ketchup.

The Row FW 2016
Proenza Schouler FW 2016
Marc Jacobs FW 2016

Public School FW 2016

Velvet not-so-underground
I personally consider myself to be a big velvet fan. There's something about the softness, and texture that makes it seem like something classy. I was glad to see that the trend is still going strong, and I don't have to get rid of my velvet bodysuit anytime soon!
3.1 Philip Lim FW 2016
Derek Lam FW 2016

Ralph Lauren FW 2016

Logomania
It's been a long battle with this subject. First it was in, then it was out, and now - we can see it happening again! Big logos all around. Love it or hate it, seems like this trend is here to stay.

Alexander Wang FW 2016
DKNY FW 2016

Rag & Bone FW 2016

That's all for now. Hope you enjoyed my small compilation of Fall/Winter 2016 trends.

Toodles! Xx

  1. Linda! We forecasted the same trend. Although your observation went down another path, concentrating on the oversized portion of the silhouette, we both recognized how the shapes and ergonomic relationship of the clothes is becoming more significant. Great minds think alike.
