Call me Leendaaa

Hiiiiiiii

This is Linda - as in Leen-da, not Linda like your grandma's best friend. :)

I am from Mexico City - so bear with me with all the poor grammar and drafting -.
I've known I wanted to live in the big city ever since I was twelve years old and came with an exchange program with school - it was the same week I got a thing for all things cherries and Reese's puffs; an obsession that is absolutely long forgotten (the cherries, that is).

When I was six years old, my mother would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I would always say I wanted to be a horse. I'm not sure what was going through my mind or why I said this, as I don't even like horses or riding them for that matter, but if you ask me today, I can tell you I really wish I could meet a unicorn..I wonder if that has any correlation with that - I'm going to guess yes.

Another fun thing about myself is that when I was about fourteen (I think) and the seventh book of Harry Potter in English came out, I became so impatient waiting for the translation to Spanish to come out, that I decided to start reading it in English, no matter how long it would take me to finish it, and when I finally did finish it - over a year later - I was happy to realize my English had gotten from a 2.5/10 to a decent 7. So that's the story I usually tell people when they ask me how I learned English - and that's also why I know how to say Dementors and Horcruxes in two different languages. That's also how I learned how to say robe.

I'm going to stop right there because I want to keep you all hanging - coming back here every week to see a new post!

Toodles! Xx
